Delete your QDoctor account

You can delete your QDoctor account yourself, from inside the app. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need to install anything to find out how.

From the app

  1. Open QDoctor and go to Account.
  2. Scroll to Privacy & your data.
  3. Tap Delete account and type DELETE to confirm.

The same option is on the Account page for patients, doctors and clinics.

Without the app

Write to [email protected] from the email or phone number on the account. We will confirm it is you before anything is deleted, and we respond within the timelines set by India's DPDP Act 2023 and the EU GDPR.

You have 15 days to change your mind

The account is scheduled for deletion, not removed immediately. For 15 days you can open QDoctor and choose Keep my account, and everything comes back. After 15 days it is permanent and cannot be brought back — not by you, and not by us.

If you are a doctor or a clinic, your public page and your sittings stop appearing on QDoctor immediately, before the 15 days start, so nobody books a chamber that is going away.

What is deleted

What we must keep

Two things survive deletion, and only because the law requires it. Both have your name and contact details removed first, so they can no longer identify you:

QDoctor holds no diagnoses, prescriptions or medical history, so there is none to delete.

Subscriptions

Deleting your QDoctor account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Those are held by the store, not by us — cancel them in the store separately, or you will continue to be charged.
